I am so honoured and delighted to have been named Outstanding Young Communicator. That the judges appreciated my ideas about ethics and PR’s role in society means the world to me.
Brighton-based PR Executive, Emma Hynes, was named as 2019’s Outstanding Young Communicator at the 2019 CIPR PRide awards ceremony.
The black-tie awards dinner took place on Friday 08 November at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel, headed by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations to celebrate the best PR companies in the country.
Emma, employed by Midnight Communications in central Brighton, was interviewed by a panel of CIPR judges who are leading figures in the industry before making it to the final shortlist.
Judges were particularly impressed with Emma’s views on ethics and her dedication to professional development, commenting: “Emma’s passion for her work shines through, her campaign results are excellent, and she clearly has a good grasp on how to develop stakeholder relationships and meet the different needs of her clients. Emma is definitely one to watch for the future.”
After joining Midnight’s graduate training programme in February 2018, Emma, 27, quickly progressed, supporting a variety of B2B and B2C campaigns.
Emma said: “I am so honoured and delighted to have been named Outstanding Young Communicator. That the judges appreciated my ideas about ethics and PR’s role in society means the world to me.
“Midnight is an incredibly supportive employer and it’s a pleasure to bring home the Gold, carrying on a long tradition of award-winning PR professionals. When I graduated, I never thought I would find work in an industry that supports and encourages creativity like the PR industry does. It’s been an amazing journey.”
